Amina Nakakande
Amina lives with her mother and older brother. Her father was murdered last year during a robbery. Originally raised as a Muslim, Amina has since converted to Christianity. Her mother is illiterate and never had the chance to attend school herself. It is extremely difficult for her to meet even the most basic needs of her children, let alone pay for their school fees. In her free time, Amina enjoys playing netball with her friends. She is a curious and eager young girl who loves to read and learn new things.
