On November 23, our Advent Bazaar took place at the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, offering the perfect start to a reflective and festive season. Thanks to the dedication of many committed volunteers, this year's bazaar was once again a great success.

The warm and festive atmosphere drew in many visitors who enjoyed a cozy afternoon over coffee or tea, homemade cakes, and freshly baked waffles. Beautiful, lovingly handcrafted items were on display and available for purchase, each made with great attention to detail.

For our younger guests, a craft table offered the chance to create their own little works of art – a highlight met with great enthusiasm and creativity.

Musical highlights came from the string ensemble "Fidelio" as well as Jonathan and Lea Albrecht. Their Christmas melodies created a special atmosphere and highlighted the sense of togetherness that shaped this day.

The outcome was truly remarkable: a total of €2,920.29 was raised. Every cent of this amount goes directly toward our aid projects in Uganda. Part of the funds will be used to cover school fees for children who still lack sponsors. The remaining funds will support the renovation of a building near our farmland and water well. This building will serve as a storage space for tools and a living area for staff who care for the agricultural work.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this day possible: to the creative hands behind the crafts, the organizers, and all the helpers on site. Your support not only made the Advent Bazaar a meaningful and joyful event but also continues to bring hope and opportunity to the children we serve in Uganda.

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty — we’re already looking forward to the next Advent Bazaar!
